The Velcro Pygmies Travel to Space January 30, 2003 Houston, TX. The Velcro Pygmies travel to space. In an unprecedented move, NASA has authorized the Pygmies to be on board the next Shuttle mission … or rather, one of the unique NASA – Pygmy T-shirts will be worn by Astronaut Collins, in space, during shuttle mission STS-114. The Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to launch on March 1st, and will be going to the International Space Station. The Pygmies shirt will be worn during the mission to answer the live long question: “Can rock survive in Space”. The Pygmies will do a special tribute to the Astronauts, their friends at NASA and all other party animals on this and all other planets, on Feb 28, 2003 in Tuscaloosa, AL at the Jupiter Bar. Be there, and show your patriotism by wearing your favorite Pygmies shirt (shirts optional for girls). The NASA – Pygmy t-shirts are already a collectors item, with very few left in Pygmies hands. If you want one, you’ll have to bribe one of the staff. |
